=================================================
"Hack IT" interface for Amstrad CPC (V7.0). This interface allows you to explore CPC Memory. The interface is sold with any cable. The interface is fully compatible with mother X4 interface,  you can use it without the need to buy another cable. If you want a cable to connect to your Amstrad, please choose the right model. It is not included with the base model. This interface is exactly the same as the original "Hack-IT" device, and allows you to do the same things.

Your CPC's memory exploration interface. Black, sober, it is nevertheless adorned with a small push button (classic) and a metal switch. It connects to the usual extension port, and allows, thanks to the connector located on its back side, the addition of another card, in a process now well known. THE HACKER allows you to stop loading or running a program, and then read, edit or save its contents.

The device contains a disassembler, memory editor etc. and so is useful for those wanted to find ways to modify / debug software on the Amstrad CPC.

CPC  - MIRAGE IMAGER MKII

CPC WIKI MULTIFACE II

CPC  - MULTIFACE II
Clever name, Multiface. An interface that does many things. Also completely untrue: the Multiface wasn’t an interface like a serial interface, which let you plug new kinds of gubbins into your CPC. It just sat on the back of your CPC and did its thing. Singular.
But that was enough. Because the thing in question, for many CPC users, was a godsend. Loading games from tape is tedious: many games were available only on tape, or on disc at an extortionate price: many CPC users had disc drives. Ergo, why not think of an easy way of getting games from tape to disc?
Romantic Robot did. The Multiface took an exact copy of what was in memory at the present moment, and saved it to disc, ready for you to reload at your leisure. All you had to do was press a little red button then select ‘Save’ from the menu that appeared.
It was such a good idea that at least three other companies had the same plan, and brought out similar-sounding devices: Datel's Action Replay, Evesham Micros' Disc Wizard, and Mirage Imager. In one of those happy coincidences of commerce and merit, the Multiface was the best of the lot, and also the one which survived.

The CLONE  interface works with both Amstrad's version. You can select the version with an on-board switch.
The interface is sold with any cable. The interface is fully compatible with mother X4 interface, you can use it without the need to buy another cable.
If you want a cable to connect to your Amstrad, please choose the right model. It is not included with the base model.
This interface is exactly the same as the original MF2 device, and allows you to do the same things.

CPC - DK'TRONICS SILICONDISC
        - OMSCHAKELBAAR >> GEHEUGEN - SILICONDISC
        - SWITCHABLE >>>>> MEMORY - SILICONDISC
The Memory Expansion and Silicon Disc from Dk'tronics are both RAM expansions. The Silicon Disc additionally comes with a ROM which contains RAM-Disc functions.
Dk'tronics produced 2 different Memory Expansions, a 64K and a 256K which were compatible with all (non Plus) CPCs.
The expansions meant that CP/M Plus and CP/M 2.2 (with the use of a utility supplied) could both access a 'massive' 61K TPA.

Silicon Discs
These were intended to be used as RAM disc, made in 64K and 256K versions, too.

CPC - VORTEX MEMORYCARD SP64-512KB

   CPC WIKI VORTEX MEMORY CARDS

VORTEX MEMORY CARDS
RAM expansions card from Vortex, mounted between CPC464 mainboard and CPU/Gate Array. It won't fit on CPC664, CPC6128, or CPC+ boards. The card is not compatible with the standard dk'tronics-sytle Standard Memory Expansions.
Sold in different sizes of RAM as SP 64, SP 128, SP 256, SP 320 and SP 512. Resulting in a maximum RAM size of 576K (64K internal, plus 512K external). The smaller SP64-SP320 versions can be upgraded to SP512 by mounting additional RAM chips in the spare sockets. There is also a cut-down version, SP 64/M, which contains only 64K RAM, no BOS ROM, and which isn't upgradable.
The expansion was available directly from Vortex (germany) and also from Screens Microcomputers (uk).
Usable under BASIC and CP/M:

BASIC:
BOS (Banked Operating System) RSX drivers are included on EPROM (mapped to ROM bank 6). Providing following features under BASIC:
Banked BASIC programs (using |GOTO, |GOSUB, |RETURN commands, for example: |GOTO,bank, line)
Pseudo Floppy (unlike a RAMDISK, this "floppy" can be accessed only via special RSX commands)
Debugger (aka Z80 Monitor) activated via |MON (v1.0) or |XM (v2.1)
Printer Spooler
Plus some extras like |FAST and |SLOW
Note: Some of the RSX commands are always available, some only after typing |BOS.

CP/M:
PATCH.COM is included on cassette. After copying the file from cassette to disk, it can be used to upgrade normal CP/M to support the expansion RAM.
Providing following CP/M features:
62K TPA
RAMDISK (unlike the BASIC Pseudo Floppy, this acts like a regular disk drive)
Printer Spooler

Note:There is a bug/problem with COPY.COM no longer working after installing PATCH.COM. A bugfix is listed in the appendix of the manual.
